Borders Sustainable Energy Forum

"Business, Energy and the Environment"- this first conference to be held by the Scottish Borders Sustainable Energy Forum will take place on 5th October 2007 in Kelso.

At this conference, the New Ways Partners will confirm their commitment through signing Scotland‘s Climate Change Declaration. David Hume (chief executive of Scottish Borders Council) and Mary Wilson (chair of the NHS Borders board) will be presenting on the challenges and their organisation‘s commitments.

Through a series of workshops, delegates will have the opportunity to identify local challenges, and provide information on business needs to the New Ways theme team.

Supporting the conference, there will be an exhibition focussing on sustainability and renewable technologies.

The conference is supported by Leader + and Scottish Borders Council. A nominal fee of £15/delegate is charged to cover the catering costs for the day.
