GROWTH BUSINESS OF THE YEAR AWARD

Entry Criteria

Applications are invited from any business or enterprise based in the Scottish Borders regardless of sector or size. This includes recent business start ups and businesses which have been established for some time.

This award will go to a business enterprise which has increased its potential over the latest financial year, and the judges will be looking for the achievement of outstanding levels of sales, profit and market share improvement. Under-pinned by strong financial performance, the size and age of the business will be considered, as will the strength of the organisation’s organic growth strategy (rather than merger and acquisition activity).

In addition, the judges would like to know more about the ‘personality’ of the business - the qualities which make the business successful, and how the business makes a positive impact on the Scottish Borders economy.
